Freedom Dance is an illustrated journal of a young husband and wife who escaped from Soviet-occupied Hungary, so look, if you don’t understand the significance of “Soviet,” or “Soviet occupied,” free your mind and check out this world-premiere exhibit of original sketches and sample footage from the upcoming Freedom Dance animated movie, based on the cartoon Travel Journal of escapee Edward Hilbert, who busted outta Budapest with the missus way back in 1956 and still remembers the Hungarian Uprising, which resulted in the deaths of anywhere from 25,000 to 50,000 Hungarians and 7,000 Soviet troops. It’s funny how whoever seems to be keeping the people down always has a more accurate body count, huh?
